What a Weidian order actually costs
Four separate charges, paid at two different moments, and the one that varies most between agents is never shown as a line item.
Four charges, two payments
You pay twice. The first payment covers the item and gets it into the warehouse. The second covers getting it to you, and you make it weeks later once you know the weight.
That split is why nobody can quote you a total up front. Until the box exists and has been weighed, half the bill has not been determined.
- Item price. Whatever the seller is charging on the day of purchase, not the day the link was saved.
- Domestic shipping in China. Usually small, sometimes free, charged by the seller.
- The conversion. Your currency into the seller's. This is the invisible one.
- International freight. By weight and route, paid when you ship.
The exchange rate is where agents actually differ
A third party measuring this across the market puts it plainly: nearly every agent charges no service fee on standard platforms, so that headline tells you very little. What varies is the rate each one converts at, and the gap over the mid market rate runs from roughly nothing to about a quarter. Spread, sampled on 2026-10-02.
On a twenty dollar order this is noise. On a four hundred dollar order it is the difference between agents, several times over, and no coupon on the page will close it.
To check it yourself: build the same basket in two accounts and compare the totals in your own currency. Comparing advertised fees will tell you nothing, because they are identical by design.

Storage windows, and why they are part of the price
Free storage looks like a perk and behaves like a discount. If you are collecting items over two months to ship together, a sixty day window and a three hundred day window are different prices for the same order.
| Agent | Free storage | To the US, 1kg |
|---|---|---|
| Sugargoo | 100 days | $19.36 / 30-60 days |
| Fansbuy | 90 days | $31.29 / 7-12 days |
| LoongBuy | 90 days | $23.73 / 10-20 days |
| CSSBuy | 90 days | not listed |
| HUBBUY | 300 days | $17.13 / 7-25 days |
| Superbuy | 90 days | $28.30 / 30-45 days |
| Hoobuy | 90 days | $24.32 / 9-15 days |
Comparison sample, table updated 2026-10-02. Read the warehouse terms yourself before relying on any of these: what happens at the end of the window varies, and disposal is a real outcome at some warehouses.

Shipping is a route decision, not an agent decision
Shipping options differ by carrier, accepted contents, weight calculation, destination, coverage and customs terms. Compare the actual route conditions and the full quote for your parcel.
Three things change the number: billable weight, which is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, so a bulky light coat can cost more than a dense heavy one; the route, which is where the days come from; and whether tax is collected on arrival or was included in the quoted price.
That last one catches people out. Two quotes that look thirty percent apart can be the same price once one of them collects duty at your door.
Cost questions worth answering before you order
Why can nobody tell me the total in advance?
Because half of it depends on a parcel that does not exist yet. Weight and volume are only known once the items are together in a box.
Is a zero service fee agent cheaper?
Not necessarily, and the claim barely distinguishes anyone now. Compare final totals in your own currency instead.
Why is my light coat costing more than a heavy pair of jeans?
Volumetric weight. A bulky item is billed on the space it occupies when that exceeds its actual weight.
Will I pay customs duty?
That depends on your country, the declared value and the line. Some routes include it in the quote and some collect it on delivery, so check which kind you picked.
